One-to-one and two-to-one Italian immersion programs for adults

Our Italian language immersion courses are a super intensive experience with Italian language. Having the opportunity of attending individual or two-to-one lessons improves the direct contact with the language and allows our teachers to put together a bespoke didactic program based on your linguistic level and on your objectives.
In Poppi, the old medieval Tuscan village where our school is located, inhabitants are always happy to have a chat with our students. That’s why a stroll in the countryside, a coffee break or a walk around the farmers’ market is a fundamental part of our Italian immersion programs for adults. Indeed, the school is deeply tied to the culture and traditions of the Casentino valley, to the tranquility of its countryside, far away from the city hustle and bustle.
A slow study trip in which you can concentrate on the Italian language every moment of the day and make fantastic life experiences in contact with the history of Tuscany, its gastronomic heritage and countryside. Our Italian language immersion courses are conceived for people like you who travel alone, with their partner or with a friend and who are looking for an easy and fast learning program.
The 1st Monday of the course (or on your first day of arrival), after your registration at the school, we’ll check your Italian language knowledge with an entry test to let the teachers understand your linguistic level. Only in this way, our Italian language immersion courses can be really effective.
THE COURSE
Our Italian language immersion courses consist of 20 fifty-minute lessons in the morning (from 9 AM to 12:40 PM) per week. All our lessons are held in Italian, but ‘in case of emergency’ all our teachers are fluent English speakers.
A bespoke one-to-one Italian language course
Choosing a one-to-one course from our Italian immersion programs for adults is the ideal solution if you are looking for bespoke lessons. If it’s the first time that you are approaching the Italian language, it is a course in which you’ll feel perfectly at ease and where you can learn Italian grammar, words and expressions according to your learning speed. You will have time to study in depth what you’re really interested in and to build a reliable relationship with your teachers, who will put together the best learning material for your objectives.
And when two is better than one…
If you are planning to attend a two-to-one course, the C.C.I.C. has the solution with its Italian language immersion courses. The maximum personalization shared with a friend, your daughter and son or with your love. During the course, we’ll satisfy the learning needs of you both, focusing on specific topics according to your linguistic levels. It is a great experience that combines fun and the discovery of our valley to language learning.
Four lessons with a chatty break
Both in the 1-to-1 and the 2-to-1 courses, in the morning there are two learning blocks, spaced out with a 20-minute break. A pause at the bar that is ideal for having a chat with local people and with the other students of the school. Remember, the C.C.I.C. motto is: speak, speak, speak!
Let’s make some role-play!
In our school, Thursday is the role play-day: a perfect moment to have fun and establish new relationships. We watch some movies, we play games like ‘complete the sentence’, we listen to famous Italian songs and then we sing them. In three words: we have fun! That’s why the students of our Italian language immersion programs for adults can attend it too.
And in the afternoon?

Last but not least…
On the last Friday of the course there’s the final test (with no marks!). We need it to know at which level have you got after the time spent together and to have an indication for the following year in case you won’t resist to come back to our school! The final test is very useful for you too, to understand what and how many progresses you have made during the course.
After the delivery of your certificate of attendance, we will say goodbye to each other, hoping to hear from you again.
Once back home, don’t let your everyday life, your work and the distance from Italy keep you away from Italian language. The school offers a continuous learning program with private lessons on Skype held by the same teachers you met in Poppi.
